7/8th Graders: The students continued their project alert study. They talked about alcohol today.

I purchased some of the supplies for the healthy snacks for next week, because the snacks are dried fruits and nuts it cost a bit more than I expected. If you can donate $7.00 instead it may cover the costs. Thanks for your consideration.

Progress reports will be sent out on Friday. The students got a report so they could work on any missing work earlier this week.

6th Graders: The students are looking at things that motivate people to do well. They are playing another cooperative game.

7/8 th Graders Wednesday/Thursday

The students practiced ways to say no to smoking. These skills will work with any situation they may get into. The students have four questions to ask their parents or another adult in their life. It is due by Friday. The questions are about peer pressure that was in your teen life.

Next week we will be making healthy snacks all week. The students need to bring $5.00 to help with the cost of the ingredients. This was a guess of the amount we will need. Extra donations would be welcome. The students will be looking at food labels. If you have any empty packages with the food labels on them please send them in.

6th Graders
Today we are going to try to climb over a rope using our friends for support. We will fill out a worksheet on friends.

The students have received a progress report so they can finish any incomplete work. I will send out reports in the mail by Friday.
